Blackburn Youth Theatre is a branch of At the Root Arts CIC. Based in Blackburn, West Lothian, Blackburn Youth Theatre is a creative space for young people aged 12 upwards to explore their creativity, make theatre and take ownership of their creativity.

With Blackburn Youth Theatre we aim to: 
 
Empower young people in the creation of high-quality, exciting and challenging pieces of work.

Encourage collaboration between young people and artists to create work that interests them, speaks to audiences and challenges what young people can do in theatre.

Engage young people with all styles of theatre with performance opportunities but also giving them the opportunity to explore production and backstage.

We meet on Monday nights at Blackburn Partnership Centre 7.30pm-9pm.
