At the Root is the place where kids come to get confidence, be creative and have fun! We create spaces where kids love to come and be themselves. At the Root is an opportunity for kids to express themselves, make new friends and develop new skills in a safe, non-judgemental and easy going environment.
What we're not: we're not strict (we believe that fun comes over perfection), we don't force anyone to do something they don't want to do and we will always make sure to go at your child's pace.

We offer FREE trials to all of our regular classes to make sure At the Root is the correct fit for your child. We offer these all throughout the year to give your child the opportunity to get a taste of what At the Root sessions are like.

Our Classes & Workshops
Little Roots Drama Workshops are playful, creative and fun spaces for children to explore drama, making theatre and role play for the first time.
Our Performance Club creates an opportunity for children to work on enhancing their performance skills and confidence. This group also has the opportunity of performing at different events and shows.
Our 8-11's Creative Arts classes include singing, dancing and drama to encourage confidence, making new friends and having fun.
Middle Roots Drama Workshops are the perfect space for children to learn more about drama, be creative with their friends and perform awesome shows at the end of term!
Our 8-11's Music Club is funded by the Fauldhouse CDT and is based in Eastfield Development Centre. The club works with different musical instruments, learning theory and putting together different songs.
Elevate is our flagship project for children with additional support needs. We run the project on Saturday afternoons at Blackburn Partnership Centre.
Our Acting Studio is for teenagers who want to challenge themselves, create theatre and build confidence through workshops and classes with professionals.
Our 4-7's Creative Arts classes include singing, dancing and drama to encourage confidence, making new friends and having fun.
